About Bryan

Bryan C. Binkholder’s affinity for investing and financial matters began many years ago and today he owns and has financial interests in multiple nationwide businesses. After earning his undergraduate and Masters from St. Louis University and Lindenwood University, he entered the world of education as a teacher and as a licensed Administrator/Principal at the secondary education level. After his parents fraudulently lost over $100,000 in an investment scheme, Bryan realized that most people lacked accurate and unbiased advice. At that point, his career took a turn to the financial industry and ever since he has became nationally known as “The Financial Coach.”

Professionally, Bryan is a Registered Investment Advisor and he also holds multiple insurance licenses. He owns Blue Ocean Portfolio’s, LLC which specialized in low cost, passive investing approaches utilizing ETF and Index Funds. Bryan is also actively involved in Real Estate Investing and owns many homes and commercial properties in the St. Louis Area and in Florida. As a noted speaker, Bryan has spoken to many organizations and professional groups including Financial Professional Associations, CPAs, Attorneys and church groups concerning finances, advanced planning strategies, income planning via his Trademark Pending “Asset Dedication Strategy” and personal motivational issues and life success. He has also spoken at many prominent investment property forums and events. His personable style, common sense approach, life experiences, and knowledge bring every presentation to life.

One of Bryan’s other accomplishments is as a Radio Show personality and authority. He hosts a weekly two-hour radio show on St. Louis’s Leading FM Talk station, 97.1 FM, from 5-7 PM on Sundays. In addition to this, he co-hosts the #1 morning show with Jamie Allman on Thursdays while handling many duties as a ‘guest host’ on various shows on the station. As an author and noted expert, Mr. Binkholder has also been quoted or published in many publications including the Wall-Street Journal, US Senior News, Investment News, Financial Advisor Magazine, Forbes, Fortune, Kiplinger’s, Investment Advisor Magazine, Senior Market Advisor Magazine, and the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

On a personal note, Bryan and his wife, Lisa, reside in the St. Louis area with their three children—Faith, Nicholas, and Daniel. They are currently adopting a daughter from the US and support many adoption causes. The Binkholder’s have been life-long residents of St. Louis and St. Charles Counties and are extremely active in various local and national organizations along with their local church and civic groups.
